I’ve been sitting on this news for awhile and my daughter and I have been on pins and needles waiting to show you! Diane von Furstenberg and Gap have debuted their second collection for babyGap and GapKids and it hit shops worldwide today!
Diane takes children on a safari with exotic prints and patterns inspired by Africa. The collection encourages discovery and was created for the adventurous girl in mind. Iconic DVF pieces such as the wrap dress and skinny fit jeans have been reworked in smaller sizes and a twist on the style. Prints are bold and classic DVF, from charming hibiscus buds, to the DVF signature heart and the Gap/DVF graffiti.
My daughter wears their Asymmetrical Tank Dress in Snorkel Blue ($53) and the Espadrille Sandals in Multi-Floral. She’s been wearing them since yesterday and wont’ take them off! Looking forward to wearing these pieces on our next adventure to commence in the coming weeks.
As you can tell by the gallery below, the collection is very playful and colorful featuring fauna, flora and exotic animals. The one thing I love the most about this collection is it’s wearability. High fashion meets child = comfort and ease of movement. All of these pieces were designed with an active and adventurous child in mind! The collection also extends to swimwear and accessories, from chic espadrilles to the essential sunhat.
Price start at $23 for accessories, $48 for dresses and up to $88 for a jacket. You can find the entire collection in-stores and online today!
