Carnival Breeze, the sister ship to Carnival Magic will make her grand debut June 3rd 2012. Carnival Cruise Lines débuted their latest ‘Fun Ship’ on May 1st in Europe. Fun is definitely the name of the game for the Carnival Magic. Great destinations include stops in Europe and the Caribbean.
Carnival recently provided a sneak peak look at the new Breeze staterooms Here are some of the family-friendly highlights and photos of the various suites:
Premium Vista Balcony staterooms (pictured above) literally wrap around the aft corners of Carnival Breeze, giving you a unique selection of viewing angles from which you’ll take in all the soothing blueness of the sky and the sea that there is to take in while cruising.
Deluxe Ocean View staterooms are perfect for families and feature a separate washroom (in addition to the full bathroom), a feature made famous by Disney Cruise Lines. While the configurations vary, many of the rooms sleep up to 5 – great news for larger families!
The Junior Suites allow you to step up into luxury. Featuring a standard sized balcony, the suite includes VIP check-in, a walk-in closet and even a whirlpool for relaxing!
The Cloud 9 Staterooms offer a real treat for spa lovers! Carnival has taken the essence of the Cloud 9 Spas and infused it into their staterooms, thus creating a visual design exclusive to spa staterooms and suites. The spa accommodations feature private spa access, special amenities and priority spa reservations.
Camp Carnival Play Area
Camp Carnival, located on Deck 11, is a 5,000-square-foot play area divided into three sections, with each area catering to a different age group and offering a variety of activities. Arts and crafts and various age-appropriate toys and games are available for 2-5 year-olds. For the 6-8 year-olds, video game consoles linked to plasma-screen TVs, sand art machines, spin art and themed activities are offered. For the 9-11 year-olds there are video game consoles, swimming under the stars, scavenger hunts, sport challenges and an array of other fun activities.
Circle ‘C’ and Club O2
Located on Deck 4, the 1,075-square-foot Circle “C” lounge gives young teens a place to call their own, with a dance floor, video jukebox, music, video gaming consoles and Fun Hub work stations. Adjacent to Circle “C” is Club O2, a 2,740-square-foot teen club where older kids can make new friends and dance to the latest hits cranked out from the DJ booth. Designed as the ultimate “chill” space, this expansive room also includes a soda bar, video gaming consoles, Fun Hub work stations and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. Both Circle “C” and Club O2 programs have a dedicated teen director who oversees a host of fun activities, including late-night movies, video game contests, trivia and scavenger hunts.
Kid-Friendly Staterooms & Dining
Like Carnival Magic’s family-friendly accommodations, the Breeze’s rooms include spacious, deluxe ocean-view staterooms with twin beds that convert to a king and ample closet space, as well as one full bathroom and a second bathroom with a junior tub, shower and sink. In addition to dozens of connecting staterooms, many of Carnival Breeze’s accommodations can hold up to five guests.
With dining such an important part of the cruise experience, Carnival Breeze will offer kid-friendly culinary choices. In addition to hamburgers and hotdogs, and the unlimited 24-hour pizza and soft-serve ice cream, the main dining rooms offer a children’s menu with daily junior specials. Camp Carnival offers a kid’s only dinner with a different dinner menu each night featuring pasta, chicken nuggets, quesadillas, fresh vegetables, fruit and dessert and more. Kids can enjoy a meal with the youth staff in the Lido Restaurant, allowing parents to have a meal alone.
