Kids Can Rev It Up With New K’NEX NASCAR Building Sets

The world’s most innovative construction toy company K’NEX, has just debuted a couple of products part of the K’NEX/NASCAR partnership which was announced in June 2009. These building sets include NASCAR’s most popular drivers as well as cars, parts and accessories which allow you to create an entire NASCAR world!

Stock Car Building Sets include Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s 88 National Guard or 88 Amp Energy cars, Jeff Gordon’s 24 DuPont/Pepsi or 24 DuPont cars and Tony Stewart’s 14 Office Depot car! Over 100 K’NEX bricks, rods and connectors as well as wheels are included. Once built, cars measure 7″ in length, representing 1:29 scale – and with custom parts, sponsor logos and color schemes, they resemble the real thing! The 88 National Guard (pictured) and 24 Pepsi Cars (shown above) are available now. Suggested retail price: $14.99.

Remaining sets such as the Pit Crew, Transporter Rig and Amp Energy Garage/DuPont Pit Lane Building Sets 
will be available July 2010.

In September 2010, the Micro-Scale Building Sets will be released allowing kids to build micro-scale versions of their favourite NASCAR driver’s car. Sets will include 88 National Guard vs. 24 DuPont/Pepsi, 88 Amp Energy vs. 24 DuPont, 14 Office Depot vs. 18 M&M.

All NASCAR sets are appropriate for children ages 5 and up. Each package includes the official NASCAR hologram, with step-by-step building instructions included inside.
