The Spring 2010 Collection from Appaman has finally arrived!
Infused with retro hues and modern silhouettes along with vintage Japanese graphics with an 80’s beach vibe, this collection is as kid friendly as they come!
Boys can rock the beach buggy tee, parachutes tee, or skateboards tee by layering it with the new plaid button front shirt; combined with new cargo shorts, camp shorts or the fun, easy, pull on French terry sweat short. The track suit ads a cute tribute to the 70’s perfect for both play dates or break-dancing in the schoolyard. Girls and boys can both enjoy the anorak style Windbreaker with roll away hood in the collar, sure to be a hit this season!
For girls, my favorite piece this season is the Mod Dress! I love the cool lines and simple colors! For your little Princess, the beautiful flowing Gauze dress is an ideal choice. Funky track shorts, inspired by founder Lynn Husum’s favorite vintage athletic shorts, Sunglasses Tee and pieces from Kayo Aiba are sure to please.
Young artist and designer, Kayo Aiba is the newest addition to Appaman’s designer team. “Prettiness” is the theme of her designs all infused with mixed media. Aiba’s 3 pieces for Appaman include: “Girls Best Friend,” “Pretty Girl,” and “Braids.” Pair Kayo’s Braids Tank with a small ruffled sleeve in seashell with the snap front mini skirt and leggings in goldenrod for a play date, or tea party!
Infants get a taste of world culture with Moroccan influenced ethnic block prints and bright colors such as clay, guava, and charcoal. The Mini line includes ruffle tees and twirly skirts or the girls and polos with round shorts for the boys.
