Brought to you by Interac Association and TheCo   I’m a big fan of the little helpers. The ones that make your life easier in the way of convenience and family function; hands full, children running, tea in hand, juggling everything all at once. When I’m alone, I’m pulling a carry on, in one hand, passport in the other and toting a backpack. It’s a struggle to organize when you’re constantly moving from one errand to the next, from one city to the next. Constantly balancing a million things at the same time.    I used to resist what I didn’t know, staying in […] Continue reading →

Quantum of the Seas Robot Bar

Note: Travel and accommodations were provided by Royal Caribbean. All words and photos are mine. Video is courtesy of Royal Caribbean. I have to admit, the thing I got most excited about when boarding Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas for the first time was the promise of tech. We were able to sign up for mini-tours and this cruise was so chock full on innovations that a newbie cruiser like myself was over the moon. We got to visit the bridge and hear about safety from the captain himself. We went below deck to see how the ship recycles […] Continue reading →

katespade

I’m a big online shopper, but there are little snags and catches that can occur along the way. Canadians are considered International shoppers, so many of the great deals found online through American retailers can double or triple in price if you take the shipping and custom fees into account, which is why I prefer to shop through Canadian stores, outlets or online warehouses. Luckily we’ve moved up in the world and the selection is quite good! Most of my fashion, electronic, media and home purchases are made online for convenience sake and well…because I love to travel and if […] Continue reading →

During casual conversation with friends a few weeks ago, I had two women tell me that they completely avoided traveling with their small children due to the stress that’s involved with all of the planning and travel. Completely avoided all travel. As a fan of family travel, that statement was so sad for me to hear. We’ve made so many incredible memories travelling with our children. Yes, there are times that you may feel overwhelmed but it really isn’t all that bad. You can travel with peace of mind as long as you plan ahead accordingly. Here’s a teaser from […] Continue reading →

1. Ramada Saskatoon - Lobby

Have you ever stayed at any of the Ramada hotels? I remember staying at a few during a road trip many years ago. They were one of the better choices of accommodations and usually had a pool, a nice breakfast and were located in nice areas. There are more than 75 Ramada hotels located throughout Canada, however the newest to open is the  Ramada Saskatoon in Saskatoon, SK. The hotel provides an easy access to Trans-Canada Highway 16 with Indoor Pool, Hot Tub and Indoor Driving Range.  If you’ve been looking for a convenient hotel to stay at while in Saskatoon, this one may be […] Continue reading →

One of the programs that will benefit from the campaign is March of Dimes NICU Family Support® at Kapiolani Medical Center […] Continue reading →
