beanbagrecall

Another big recall to announce! A few days ago 2.2 million bean bag chairs made by Ace Bayou were recalled following the deaths of two children. The voluntary standard requires non-refillable bean bag chairs to have closed and permanently disabled zippers. recall brita

It’s always scary when a recalled item happens to be the same one you use daily. In this case it was for one of the bottles that my daughter uses daily. 242,500 Brita Water Filter bottles for kids have been recalled as the lid can break into pieces with sharp points, posing a laceration hazard. The four recalled children’s water bottles have popular cartoon characters on a hard-sided plastic bottle. The bottles stand 6 inches tall, hold 15 […] Continue reading →

car seat recall

There’s a massive recall that was just issued a few days ago, so check your car seats! Evenflo issued a voluntary recall in coordination with the U.S National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) for their select 2011-2014 convertible car seats and harnessed booster seats (1.3 million in total). The seats are identified below by name, model number prefix and date of manufacture as each of these seats uses a harness crotch buckle which may become resistant to unlatching over time, due to exposure to various contaminants (like food and drinks) thus making it difficult to remove a child from the vehicle.
