The State Museum of Pennsylvania has announced that they will be offering special summer day camps for children focusing primarily on fossils and paleontology in July. This Fossil Day Damp will highlight the exciting new paleontology exhibit, “Life through Time,” which features the museum’s recently restored Marshalls Creek mastodon. Museum educators will lead day campers to go inside and explore the museum’s popular “Dino Lab” exhibit. For the first time, the Dino Lab will allow these young visitors to explore it’s exhibi and learn about fossils and how paleontologists perform their scientific work.
