I’m no stranger to swim-up suites. Just last year, during a trip to the Azul Beach Resort in Mexico, I experienced my first swim-up room (yes there’s an actual pool located directly off your deck). It was luxurious and oh so refreshing, and for families, such a boon if you have small children as there’s no need to haul them back to your room for nap time, as you’re essentially at your room the whole time. The difference at the new Generations Riviera Maya’s rooms is that ALL of the decks have pools running through and across. The rooms offer […] Continue reading →

Several weeks ago, I shared my experience of the Azul Beach Resort in Cancun, Mexico on Babble. Having stayed at both the Generations Maroma and Azul Beach, this resort came in as my all-time favorite thanks to the boutique experience that we received during our trip. I’ll dive into more detail later on, but for now I wanted to share details on the room I stayed in. Karisma is so incredibly efficient with their accommodations as I shared previously with our coverage on Generations Maroma. The rooms could comfortably sleep 5, but you never felt crowded thanks to the slide-out […] Continue reading →

Hola friends! Thanks to Karisma Resorts and Azul Hotels, I am currently in Mexico for the next few days, checking out some of the beautiful resorts and family-friendly properties. I arrived early this afternoon and have been enjoying the hot and humid weather (a nice change from the brisk weather we’ve been having in Ontario). Today, I’m spending the night at the Generations Maroma Hotel , an all inclusive property located on the Riviera Maya and over the next few days we’ll be traveling to a couple of the Azul Hotels. All three family-friendly properties are all-inclusive and offer a […] Continue reading →

I recently took a press trip to Los Cabos, Mexico with Starwood Properties to review The Westin and The Sheraton. Both are fantastic properties but they are each very different from one another. While I stayed open-minded, I definitely had a favourite. When reviewing hotels or resorts for families, especially from a mom’s perspective, there is a lot to take into consideration with the most important factor always in mind – both parents and kids have to be […] Continue reading →

I am really excited to share this wealth of information with you! A couple of days ago, I had the opportunity to speak to style expert  and fashion aficionado Amy Tara Koch, the author of Bump It Up, trend reporter to NBC, contributer to SELF, New York Times, People’s Mom and Baby, Travel & Leisure, and many others. As traveling season is upon many of us, this was a great opportunity to ask her a few questions on the many aspects of family travel! You can view the entire interview as well as some highlights […] Continue reading →

The wide variety of water play areas include “raining” palm trees, a large water bucket area and water spouts throughout the park. As a daily activity, all children that are […] Continue reading →
