You all know how much I adore Lululemon. I have a bit of an addition to the brand. Recently, one of the previous designers, Chuck Beatty, debuted Twiga, a new line for girls. Customizable yoga pants anyone? Twiga makes customizable and personalized active wear and accessories for girls and women of all ages and sizes. The Twiga collection includes leggings, shorts, yoga pants, crops and headbands for both mom and daughter – all made from the highest quality materials here in Canada. All of the products are made BY HAND, one at a time by Chuck Beatty and his team. […] Continue reading →

lululemon rarely has any sales, unless you want to count the “We Made Too Much” uploads every Wednesday night. You can score a gem here and there, but they are slim pickings, especially in sizing. Last night during the regularly scheduled WMTM upload, the company shocked us all by taking their annual”lululemon Warehouse Sale” online. This sale is usually held in Vancouver at their warehouse, but it seems as though they’ve made it available to the masses (thank you). Unfortunately many items have already sold out, but it’s definitely worth a look. The Toasty Tech Tights (my favourite) are on […] Continue reading →

Ice skating, gymnastics and dance lessons have begun, which means you’ve most likely been shopping for activewear for your children. lululemon athletica is my favorite brand of activewear and a couple of years ago, they launched ivivva, a brand that is inspired and made for young girls. All of the same technical fabrics like Luon® or anti-stink Silverescent™ that you know and love are used to make these pieces. I’ve purchased a size 14 for myself (equivalent to a size 4 women’s) and found the quality to be in line with lululemon. My girls have become quite active this year […] Continue reading →

Last summer my daughter signed up for an intensive dance program at the local school of the arts. Although she’s taken dance classes in the past, she’s never taken dance so seriously, strenuously, and for so long. Her days stretched (no pun intended) from 9-4:30. Finding appropriate dance wear, was a problem. We searched high and low, in stores and on the internet for appropriate active-wear attire for her to wear to class. It’s hard enough already finding clothing for girls who are “in between”. They’ve outgrown the kid’s section but they don’t quite fit into women’s clothing. Both of […] Continue reading →

Lululemon Athletica one of the top manufacturer and retailers of yoga-inspired athletic apparel has introduced a new brand called Ivivva Athletica, geared towards 6-12-year-old tweens. A Good Clean Life reports that the company wants to focus on girl’s products alone for the time being, which would retail exclusively through their three stores in Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary. The gear is designed to be worn during gymnastics, dance, figure skating, field hockey, track and field, soccer and other sports, as well as regular daily activities. “We are an entrepreneurial company that never stops innovating,” asserted Lululemon CEO Christine Day. “We have […] Continue reading →
