As a bit of a self-professed weather nerd I became excited when I came across a photo on Instagram of a child wearing the most adorable (and smiling) cloud shirt. The brand is Whistle & Flute, and I was delighted that their other prints are just as enjoyable. Whistle & Flute is a Canadian company creating “fine clothes for dapper families.” Each design is screen-printed by hand on American Apparel clothing. Recent trends have shown more unisex designs, prints, and colors, and for that I am incredibly thankful. Whistle & Flute follows suit as all of their clothing can be […] Continue reading →

The t-shirt pictured above is a tongue-in-cheek nod to his infamous art piece debuted in 1962 and aptly named “Campbell’s Soup Cans.” Price: $41.05 There was a similar style created last year for the girls. It has a sequin trim along the sleeves and a floaty cotton poplin back. This one is currently […] Continue reading →

“What does the FOX say?” I’m sure you’ve heard that song by now and if so, I apologize for the ear worm which has just made its way into your head. If you haven’t, here’s the latest song to sweep the nation with its incredible weirdness. Even Siri has caught on! What began as a small side-gig for a university student, has transformed into full-time shop ownership for Montreal’s Yana Gorbulsky. As clothing designer extraordinaire and head honcho at Supayana, a clothing line featuring unique pieces for mom and baby, Yana has grown from a one-woman show in 2003 to a thriving businesswoman with wholesale capabilities and an eco-friendly credence worth praising. “When I was in university I started selling my handmade clothing on eBay,” she tells Worn Journal. “A few years later, it became a self-sustaining business, so after I graduated, I decided to do fashion full-time.” It’s been amazing ever […] Continue reading →
