While browsing online for summer clothes for my toddler son, I came across these perfect-for-summer floral and print dresses from Elephantito and had to share for your little women. Elephantito designs modern looks for classic pieces on girls, boys, baby clothing, and children’s shoes. The Emily Dress with Pockets (above) is such a sweet, classic style and print. As a mom to a boy (an only child), I have always thought that girls would have more longevity in their clothing since dresses are easily paired with leggings, shorts, or a skirt as they grow older. This dress would also be […] Continue reading →

I came across UB2 Urban Baby Bonnets several years ago while searching for a bonnet on my favorite site – Etsy. I was immediately drawn to the classic wide brimmed bonnet style and gorgeous fabrics used. The bright colors and whimsical prints had me sold. Fast forward a couple of years later and the company has expanded their line to include dresses, rompers and boys apparel. I had a chance to check out some of the pieces first-hand during the ABC Expo in Louisville last year and fell in love! The quality of these dresses is superb and each piece […] Continue reading →

Everything about this dress is just perfect in my opinion. You have a simple cream woven cotton accented with tartan plaid and a red feedsack print applique of a double decker bus. The Double Decker Bus British Pippa Dress is cheeky, charming and comfortable with a style perfect for back to school. Thanks to the short sleeve tunic style you could wear this on warm days or layered during colder ones. Each piece is made to order from the brilliant lilipopdesigns on Etsy, so give them approimately 4 weeks for production. Price: […] Continue reading →

There once was a little girl who became so enamoured by a dress, she cried actual tears when it was time to take it off. That little girl, just happens to be my eldest who is as smitten as I am with Tutu Du Monde. This Australian company has brought fairytales to life with the most stunning dresses and tutus that are so beautiful you would swear they had a little bit of magic sewn in. Unlike the polyester pieces that are so very mass-prodced these days, Tutu Du Monde hand-dyes and hand makes the cotton and tulle pieces and […] Continue reading →

Last year, before we featured Steiff’s children’s clothing line, I was surprised to learn that they were in the clothing business. Known for their luxurious toys and teddy bears, Steiff isn’t usually a name you associate with children’s apparel. For their new 2011 collection, they have released the most adorable sailor dress, that I fell in love with as soon as I laid eyes on the design. Sailor dresses are usually pretty much the same, featuring the tie, white and blue color scheme and typical design. Steiff’s cotton dresses offer a nautical inspired collar and double-breasted front with branded buttons. […] Continue reading →

I like fancy and frilly outfits for my girls, but really prefer the chic and casual look over anything else. This handmade peasant-style dress from Hot Lava Clothing on Etsy is right up my alley! A-line shapes are always the most flattering and thanks to the cut and design of this outfit, you have a dress that would also work as a tunic. The red and black floral print is a real eye-catcher and I’m totally in love the fact that it isn’t too ‘Christmasy’. Your little girl could easily wear it before, after and during the holidays! The dress […] Continue reading →
