It’s official peeps! Royal Caribbean announced that they’ll be moving forward with an order of the fourth Oasis-class ship for delivery in 2018! Known for pushing the boundaries and as part of the cruise line’s improvement strategy, Oasis III will be approximately 20 percent more energy efficient than Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, which already are the most energy efficient cruise ships in the world. ‘ Exciting news in the travel world today! Royal Caribbean revealed details and photos for their next generation of cruise ships. Quantum ships will span 18 decks, encompass 167,800 gross registered tons and carry 4,180 guests at double occupancy. This new class of ships will be introducing many ‘firsts’ to the cruising industry such as bumper cars at sea, roller skating and the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea (just to name but a few). The first-ever Barbie experience at sea will invite girls to see what happens when Barbie becomes a part of their cruise vacation. Thinking about a cruise over the winter? Over the summer Royal Caribbean has expanded their offerings at their private beach in Labadee, Haiti which now offers even more for families. They have increased the number of beach cabanas from 20 to 40 including one wheelchair accessible cabana. Dragon Splash is one of the new additions, a 300′ custom built stainless-steel twisting waterslide is great for kids as well as adults and is located close to the Arawak Aqua Park at the Columbus Cove.
