Get excited because Disney Cruise Line is adding in a magical new course for northern Europe, one that will make “Frozen” fans very happy by cruising to Norway! Starting March 27, 2014, traveling families will be able to explore the Norwegian fjords, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. This is a first for Disney! In addition,  Disney Cruise Line is returning to the Baltic for all-new itineraries, including sailings from Copenhagen, Denmark to St. Petersburg, Russia. Yes it’s true! Catherine Middleton will name Princess Cruises’ newest ship, the Royal Princess during an inaugural ceremony in Southampton. This will be the highlight of a full week of events leading up to the ship’s maiden voyage. After sailing on her maiden voyage, the Royal Princess will sail through the Mediterranean during the summer and will then follow up with Eastern Caribbean cruises in the fall. Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship has announced that they will debut the largest youth and teen dedicated facilities in the fleet when they enter service in April 2013. For the first time with Norwegian, the Splash Academy youth area will cover over two decks and will be located across from the family-friendly staterooms. Teens will have their own dedicated space at Entourage located on Deck 16 and the babies and tots under the age of 3 will also have their own space. Singer, Academy Award-winning actress and mom to one, Jennifer Hudson, has been named godmother of the Disney Dream, which will be officially christened in Port Canaveral, Fla., tomorrow (January 19, 2011). Jennifer began her singing career aboard the Disney Wonder in 2003 and then made her way to American Idol in 2004, where she became a finalist, and shortly after signed a record deal with Arista.
