Passion Island

I’ve been to Mexico a couple of times, however one of the most amazing spots I had the pleasure of visiting, was actually an excursion that I took with Carnival Cruise Lines. Isla de Pasion, also known as Passion Island, is located approximately 30-40 minutes from Cozumel by ferry. Just breathtaking. Where can you find a beach like this in Mexico? As you know, we are a big fan of Carnival’s new ships. The Carnival Sunshine isn’t technically “new” although you would never guess it when onboard. Previously the Carnival Destiny,  the Carnival Sunshine holds 3,002 passengers and features everything from an onboard waterpark, a SkyCourse, an incredible amount of restaurants and activities onboard.  Last November we were invited onboard this new ship and took part in the Christening festivities. During the dockside ceremony in New Orleans, Lin Arison, the widow of Ted Arison (founder of Carnival Cruise Lines) christened the ship. Exciting new additions to Carnival!
