I’m totally a snack hog. I usually snack my way through the day until dinner time, forgoing anything that could be counted as an actual meal. Where did that entire box of Wheat Thins go while I was watching Downton Abbey? I don’t know, but I’m covered in crumbs and regret. These crispy zucchini snacks are an awesome alternative to popcorn as a movie snack (we made a batch while watching Frozen for the umpteenth time this week), and you can even amp up the health factor by baking them. I prefer them with that crisp brown coating that you […] Continue reading →

The products will be displayed in such a way to showcase the diversity of Etsy’s online shops. Spring has sprung full bloom here in north Florida, and it’s time to start planting our garden. I see bits of Spring weather sprouting in my hometown in northern Illinois as well, so hopefully this week will be the last of the cold and snow most of North America has to deal with this season. Bring on the April showers! Our two-year-old son has become an excited little gardener, so I thought I would put together our list of ideas to help your toddler grow his or her own little green thumb. Gardening Kits Seeds are super easy to get […] Continue reading →

Hugo Boss’ BOSS Kids fashion line is out and it’s dapper as ever! Whether you’re looking for something a little laid bath, or pieces that are on the dressy side, Hugo Boss has something for every occasion. The relaxed pieces are chic and sporty, cotton fleece trousers are worn with a woven jacket. The season’s must-have is the knit suit jacket with its sharp polo collar and rib-cuffed sleeves. The polo shirts – in piqué or with broad multicoloured stripes – add a sporty feel. This summer, the BOSS boys set sail for a regatta look. A tinge of wine […] Continue reading →

Frozen Tour Quebec City

Although I’m Canadian, as of February 2014, I had yet to go dog-sledding. It’s a little odd as dog-sledding is a major activity in this country, but I just had never got around to it. When I saw the activity listed in our agenda for the “Frozen” press event in Quebec City, I was completely stoked! Finally, I’d get my chance to see what the hubbub was all about. We visited Pourveoirie du Lac Beauport  in the late afternoon and received the full run-down by one of the guides at the establishment. He was extremely thorough and gave us a […] Continue reading →

Fitness is a huge part of my life and coincidentally the same rings true for my dear friend Audrey McClelland from Mom Generations. We are both very busy moms with businesses and kids (she outdoes me in that department with 5 of her own!) but we still make fitness a priority. Not only is it great for your body, fitness clears your mind and your soul from the daily chaos of the beautiful thing we call life. The endorphins are priceless! We’ve decided to start bringing some of our favourite finds in fitness for our readers. You may have noticed […] Continue reading →
