Spring is a great time to get your kids outside and moving. On Saturday, May 18, 2013, the National Park Trust will be hosting National Kids to Parks Day for the third consecutive year. Organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Children & Nature Network, the NFL Players Association, America’s State Parks, the National Wildlife Federation, and the U.S. Department of the Interior have joined the National Park Trust to celebrate the outdoors and support the First Lady’s Let’s Move Outside! initiative. Imagine a parade made completely out of lights. The dancers, music and floats coincide perfectly with each twinkle. During our trip to Walt Disney World last month we finally, finally had the chance to check out this amazing parade. Since I love to share our travels with you all I was sure to video tape quite a bit of it and took a ton of photos!

Five years ago Dallas Clayton wrote “An Awesome Book!” about dreams and the importance of dreaming big. As an American author and illustrator, Clayton wanted to write and illustrate a children’s book after the birth of his son. He was turned down by many major publishing companies but still opted to publish the book himself and put the book online for free. WWD has reported that Trussardi and Pinco Pallino SpA, a luxury children’s wear manufacturer have partnered to distribute and produce the Trussardi Junior Collection. Founded in 1983, this luxury line of stunning pieces for babies, boys and girls is one that is coveted in Europe. The Italian label is only available in stores throughout China, Taiwan, Italy, Austria and United Arab Emirates. The new agreement between Pinco Pallino SpA and Trussardi will commence for their spring-summer 2014 season and the collection will debut at the Pitti Bimbo trade fair in Florence from June 27-29.
Prices from the Trussardi line range from $93.20 for a baby shortie to $181.74 for a button-down linen suit.
