It’s always fun to see what kind of products celebrities fancy. I’m always curious ;). Last week (August 28th) during the “Back to School/Christmas in August” event hosted by Good Carma Studio, GG Benitez PR and On Air Host Sadie Murray  at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, celebs checked out the latest and greatest in holiday gift items and back to school products.  This event was sponsored by Mabel’s Labels, and Play-Doh, featuring an organic food spread from PALETA, with their Signature Potables & Juices, showcasing their kids lunch meals and family meal plans.     Just a few of the celebrities in […] Continue reading →

If you’ve ever wanted to play with hair extensions, but didn’t have the nerve (or the money) to go through the entire procedure, Secret Extensions are a fabulous option! No clips or glue is necessary with these incredibly realistic hair pieces. My  hair is already the same length as the extensions, so I used them to add additional body and volume to my own hair.  “Each Secret Extensions piece is guaranteed to perfectly blend into your hair, or your money back!”   Secret Extensions sent me several different shades that match with my hair colour, and they ALL worked beautifully! After […] Continue reading →

The funniest thing happened to me and made me realize just how small this world really is. While scrolling through my favourite Instagram account of all time Rachel Brathen, the infamous@Yoga_Girl, I somehow put two and two together and realized that her mother was the founder of Tröstisar, a Swedish company that makes Cuddly Bandages, a product that I was first introduced to at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas last year. It’s so strange how two worlds collide when you least expect it! In addition to my love for children’s products, I share my passion for health and […] Continue reading →

Another big recall to announce! A few days ago 2.2 million bean bag chairs made by Ace Bayou were recalled following the deaths of two children. The zippers on the bean bag chairs can be opened and children can then crawl inside, get trapped and suffocate or choke on the bean bag chair’s foam beads. The voluntary standard requires non-refillable bean bag chairs to have closed and permanently disabled zippers. A 13-year old boy from McKinney, Texas died and a 3-year-old girl from Lexington, Ky. died after suffocating from lack of air and inhaling the chair’s foam beads. Both children […] Continue reading →

It’s that time of year again! If you’re heading to the Walt Disney World Resort in the next month or so, you’ll be able to catch the infamous Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, one of the most fabulous events to hit WDW in my opinion. On 26 select nights from September 1 through Halloween night October 31, the Magic Kingdom will host this spooktacular after-hours party from 7 p.m. – midnight. Disney villains take center stage in 2014 with “Villains Mix & Mingle – Live on Stage” castle show; and Club Villain, an all-new nightly character dance party experience takes over […] Continue reading →

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of dudley for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Have you checked off your back-to-school checklist? I still have a couple of items left on mine! I don't know why I leave everything to the last minute. Call it a back-to-school tradition for Canadian students  if you will. This year, I learned about a company that I was not familiar with. dudley® has expanded their current line of stylish school accessories with the introduction of its Load N lock Pencil Pod™ and The FULLY LOADED™ Lunch. As we all know, […] Continue reading →

I still remember the first time I bathed my babies. Their tiny little bodies touching the water for the first time, splashing their little hands in the sink as I tried to wash their slippery arms and legs.  Oh, how I miss those days! My son is on his way to washing himself now! Learning to bathe your new baby can be a little scary – there’s a lot to juggle and of course you want to keep your little one safe. But as long you’re properly prepared, bath time can be a great bonding experience and a whole lot of fun! Disney […] Continue reading →
