Fitness is a huge part of my life and coincidentally the same rings true for my dear friend Audrey McClelland from Mom Generations. We are both very busy moms with businesses and kids (she outdoes me in that department with 5 of her own!) but we still make fitness a priority. Not only is it great for your body, fitness clears your mind and your soul from the daily chaos of the beautiful thing we call life. The endorphins are priceless! We’ve decided to start bringing some of our favourite finds in fitness for our readers. You may have noticed […] Continue reading →

Contrary to popular belief, there are many vegetarian and vegan dining options at Disneyland Resort. I discovered this several years ago, when I visited Disneyland for the first time. My family and I dined at the Wine Trattoria and found quite a few vegetarian options on the menu – all were delicious! Recently, Disney put a list together to showcase just some of the highlights available for their vegetarian and vegan guests. It couldn’t have been released at a more appropriate time as my family and I are heading to Disneyland next week for the Disney Social Media Moms conference! […] Continue reading →

Since we switched to washable shoes, I really don’t know how we could ever go back. The kids can wear them in the water, I don’t have to worry about the shoes getting overly dirty and they always look like new! See Kai Run just unveiled their new waterproof shoe collection for toddlers. The shoes are equipped with flexible rubber soles, a generous width and wide toe box for lots of movement. The collars are padded for cushiony comfort and you don’t have to worry about laces as these shoes do up with adjustable hook and loop closures. I’m really […] Continue reading →

burberry baby bag

I’m a sucker for anything Burberry, especially Burberry diaper bags! The print is timeless, classy and wears like it’s nobody’s business. Each and every year, Burberry releases a couple of new baby bags for spring and fall. We’ve featured them as they come out, but this year I think I’m loving the styles even more than the ones from the past. The Beige Nova Check Baby Bag (pictured above) features Burberry’s signature print and the trims are all made of leather. It comes with its own black padded changing mat and seven inside pockets. There is also a detachable size […] Continue reading →

Over the last couple years, I’ve made a conscious effort to buy less pre-packaged food and make my own version of “the basics” like breads, broth, beans and canned goods. At first, I thought it was going to be a really hard adjustment, but it turns out that making the basics isn’t nearly as much effort as you might think. For just a little bit more time and planning, you get more flavorful versions of pantry basics and a much less expensive trip to the grocery store. One thing I never, ever buy anymore is broth. It is insanely cheap […] Continue reading →
