The innocence and purity of a child is one of the most beautiful things. It’s something that many adults can learn from. I saw something today that warmed my heart and put a smile on my face.  An Italian media company called Ciaopeople Media Group put together a video showcasing the results of a certain social experiment. They interviewed four boys between 7 and 11 years of age and introduced them to a girl called Martina.  The boys were asked to caress Martina, make a funny face and then to slap her – hard. Their reactions and responses are just…well you’ll have to […] Continue reading →

When I came across a photo of the classic green Army men doing yoga poses, Yoga Joes, I stopped in my tracks to smile. How awesome and innovate to take a toy that spans generations, and give it a peaceful twist, while also reminding people that yoga is for everyone from all walks of life. I will be pre-ordering a set of these for my son as soon as I can! Yoga Joes was launched through a Kickstarter campaign (which was fully-funded, yay!) by a company called Brogamats. Brogamats’ tag line is “Yoga for dudes. And women too.” Their company […] Continue reading →

Are you scrambling to get the last of your Christmas shopping done? I usually plan months in advance, but this year everything has been last minute. Last minute family emergencies, traveling and business has kept me from my usual organized holiday schedule. I braved the malls today and rumour has it tomorrow is going to be even crazier!   The Amazing Zhus Stunt Pets are new on the market and are designed to perform acrobatics and gravity defying stunts by plunging over 3 feet from the High Dive into a bucket, walking tightrope and run on circus balls. They’re crazy cool! holidaytraveling

Are you heading out for the holidays? Several friends and family are hitting the road on Monday, while others are waiting until after Boxing Day to visit their relatives. Travel is at it’s peak during the holidays which is why so many are opting to hit the road as opposed to flying. Regardless of when/how you travel, there are several products that are guaranteed to make your trip more peaceful and stress-free.  I received the Cobra CPP7500C JumPack MB Power Charger Amp USB Bill recently and practically squealed when I opened the package. Why hasn’t anyone thought of this sooner? You […] Continue reading →

Suddenly, it seems that Christmas is next week already. Between family arriving in town, final shopping trips and grocery runs to do, and cookies to bake, I feel as though I have completely let the fun, crafting part of the holidays slip away. On Monday, a friend and I quickly searched Pinterest for some last-minute craft ideas and came across several that we have added to our list. These adorable Santa Handprint Keepsake Ornaments took a little bit longer than I would have liked, but they were definitely worth the effort. My only regret is that I didn’t make more […] Continue reading →
