There are two main things I look for in a vehicle – fuel efficiency and space. The Honda Odyssey has both in spades. Over the past two weeks, we’ve been testing out the 2014 Odyssey SE, in fact we took it on a trip to Mackinac Island just to test out the gas mileage and see how it fared. This vehicle comes equipped with a V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. It offers 8-passenger seating,HandsFreeLink™-bilingual Bluetooth wireless mobile phone interface with a text message. There is plenty of space in the back and the seats have Lower Anchors and Tethers […] Continue reading →

I did it. I drove a mini van every, single, day for an entire week… and I liked it. I know, I know, it’s shocking. I’m still getting trying to get […] Continue reading →

It’s family road trip season! Over the next couple of months we will be highlighting a couple of family-friendly vehicles that are suited for road trips and hauling families that require a little extra space. The Honda Pilot is a favorite among many and comes in 5 different models. The LX 2WD, LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. Today we will showcase the touring which essentially includes all the extras. Seating 8, it’s surprising at how good this vehicle is on gas. The Eco-setting is fabulous and switches the vehicle from a 6 cylinder to a 4 automatically. And the tech […] Continue reading →

We are in the market for a new vehicle. Our lease on our 2010 Ford Flex is up and we are looking to buy this time around. I had a quick peek at the Chevrolet Traverse during the Traveling Mom Retreat at Disney World a couple of months ago, but a quick spin doesn’t compare to a road trip and to really test out a vehicle you have to spend more time […] Continue reading →
