It’s always fun to see what kind of products celebrities fancy. I’m always curious ;). Last week (August 28th) during the “Back to School/Christmas in August” event hosted by Good Carma Studio, GG Benitez PR and On Air Host Sadie Murray  at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, celebs checked out the latest and greatest in holiday gift items and back to school products.  This event was sponsored by Mabel’s Labels, and Play-Doh, featuring an organic food spread from PALETA, with their Signature Potables & Juices, showcasing their kids lunch meals and family meal plans.     Just a few of the celebrities in […] Continue reading →

beanbagrecall

Another big recall to announce! A few days ago 2.2 million bean bag chairs made by Ace Bayou were recalled following the deaths of two children. The voluntary standard requires non-refillable bean bag chairs to have closed and permanently disabled zippers. A 13-year old boy from McKinney, Texas died and a 3-year-old girl from Lexington, Ky. died after suffocating from lack of air and inhaling the chair’s foam beads. Both children […] Continue reading →

recall brita

It’s always scary when a recalled item happens to be the same one you use daily. In this case it was for one of the bottles that my daughter uses daily. 242,500 Brita Water Filter bottles for kids have been recalled as the lid can break into pieces with sharp points, posing a laceration hazard. The four recalled children’s water bottles have popular cartoon characters on a hard-sided plastic bottle. Characters and bottle colors include Dora the Explorer®, violet; Hello Kitty®, pink; SpongeBob Square Pants®, blue; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®, green. The bottles stand 6 inches tall, hold 15 […] Continue reading →

Remember Sabrina the Teenage Witch? The actress and star of the show, Melissa Joan Hart has teamed up with her husband Mark Wilkerson to launch their first kids’ line, aptly called, King of Harts. As the parents of three young active sons the couple decided to create a line of cool, functional, and resilient clothing options that could keep up with their frog catching, mud-puddle jumping, tree climbing boys. As a mom to a boy, I can attest to how few clothing lines there are that are geared towards boys, so this is definitely welcomed news. The collection is manufactured […] Continue reading →
