Fisher-Price East Aurora Power Wheels F-150

My husband’s a Ford guy. It’s been proven with numerous reviews and expert opinions that the f-150 is the ultimate 4×4 and after owning ours for several years, we can attest to the truth of it! Of course, my son is just as enamoured by our truck as my husband which is why I’m so excited about the brand new Power Wheels vehicle inspired by Ford’s 2015 F-150 truck. Complete with sporty “chrome” wheels, this 2-seater truck with a roomy interior is perfect for your rough and touch backyard driving conditions. There is a real FM radio with built-in MP3 […] Continue reading →

Spring has sprung full bloom here in north Florida, and it’s time to start planting our garden. I see bits of Spring weather sprouting in my hometown in northern Illinois as well, so hopefully this week will be the last of the cold and snow most of North America has to deal with this season. Bring on the April showers! Our two-year-old son has become an excited little gardener, so I thought I would put together our list of ideas to help your toddler grow his or her own little green thumb. Gardening Kits Seeds are super easy to get […] Continue reading →

I’m a huge fan of Radio Flyer. Their products are classics and have brought joy to kids for decades. The company just introduced a new super cool toy called, Cyclone, which provides new way for kids to zoom, spin and grin while they stay active and have fun. The Radio Flyer Cyclone is designed for kids ages 3-7 who must use their arms to rotate and propel the giant 16-inch wheels  into 360-degree spins, quick forward sprints and reverse rolls. This is a great introduction to exercise for young riders, the kid-powered ride-on encourages active, healthy outdoor play for hours […] Continue reading →

St. Patrick’s Day is next week! If you are looking for a fun green toy to give your little leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day, here are some great ones to choose from!   1 – This recycling truck by Green Toys is absolutely fabulous. When it comes to toys and dolls, it’s the classics that really draw me in. Although trends are certainly “fun” it’s the historic and educational aspect of the classics that encourage intelligent play. This is just one of the reasons why the company A Girl for All Time, has stolen my (and my daughters’) hearts. A Girl For All Time is inspired by the fictional Marchmont family, who throughout 500 years experience adventure and excitement in their time era. “Clementine Harper’ is the newest addition to this collection. At 12 years old Clementine is living in London during World War II […] Continue reading →

Minnie and the Monster

This day and age, it’s hard to find a truly adorable, one-of-a-kind toy. Especially of the handmade type. Back in November, I was searching for a sweet nativity set to get for my girls for the Christmas season. Everything I found was either cheap and plastic or really expensive and breakable. Doing one final search on Etsy, I stumbled across Minnie and the Monster, an adorable shop featuring handcrafted wooden playthings, including the sweetest simple nativity I’ve ever […] Continue reading →
