Well, it’s happened! Stella McCartney Kids has just released their Spring Sumer 2016 collecion and it’s just what you’d expect but more. Fun, whimsical and with inspiration from under the sea.  Check out this adorable octopus onesie for example!   And this jelly fish onesie isn’t what it looks like. The front is a real winner! I love it when fashion designers think out of the box and come up with designs that are both different and unlike the norm. Stella McCartney does it every, single time. Check out her site for the entire collection – […] Continue reading →

The beloved baby swaddle and bedding company, aden + anais, has announced today the launch of their new baby clothing collection! Parents everywhere can rejoice knowing that their babies can now be clothed in the softest, most breathable textures during that precious first year. Lovely Mini Hearts Tank Top Bodysuit and Silver Star Long-Sleeve Kimono Bodysuit I am due in October with our second little boy and I am excited that aden + anais has launched this collection now. My son has gone through six swaddling blankets now since he uses them as a security blanket, loving on the tag, […] Continue reading →

You may think that winter is an off time of year to talk about sunglasses, but if you have ever lived in a snowy climate, you know how intense that glare can be off of the fresh, white, landscape. Well, the awesome news is that Babiators, the beloved toddler and child sunglasses brand, recently launched a new line for children ages 7-14 called Aces. Aces Shades fly high with rad style that kids will love and a durability that pleases every parent. Babiators’ Lost and Found Guarantee allows you to register you child’s glasses (this goes for original Babiators, too), […] Continue reading →

Monica & Andy

Where have you been all my life? I was recently introduced to Monica & Andy’s line of children’s wear, baby layettes and accessories and I have to say, I’m smitten… and slightly jealous of the new mothers who get to experience this line of coziness. This Chicago-based apparel and blanket company carries a full line of products that are top notch. I’ve come across hundreds upon hundreds of baby blankets and muslin blankets, but Monica & Andy are on point and dare I say…slightly ahead of the game with their line. The Coming Home blanket is oversized and drapes beautifully […] Continue reading →

Skip Hop is at it again with the launch of their new layette collection carrying modern baby basics! This is one brand that always hits the nail on the head when it comes to affordable style and cool, modern products. Skip Hop’s new baby basics collection is designed to be mix and matched for easy coordination. Let’s admit those early months are sleep-deprived and bleary-eyed enough, so any step that makes one task a bit less thought-intensive is a total “win” for parents. These must-have registry items are easy and stylish, 100% cotton, and adorable with trendy prints and colors. […] Continue reading →

Natty is a new brand designing a gorgeous line of dresses for girls aged two through ten. The styles are reminiscent of the pieces the designer had custom made in the 1960’s and 1970’s and are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. The clean finishes, French seams, and exquisite tailoring all create a beautiful, classically-styled dress for young girls today. These pieces all remind me of the sweet collection worn by Sally Draper on Mad Men. Shown above is the dramatic, red Ruby Flounce Sleeve Dress and the bright yellow, limited edition, mod shift […] Continue reading →

It all started with Gwen Stefani. Years ago, when the celebrity mom and singer stepped out with her son Kingston dressed in edgy, yet cool threads, everyone started talking about who/what he was wearing. Every hipster kid, parent and grandparent was out to buy the cool clothes for themselves/friends and family. I don’t even think it was because Kingston was wearing the clothing, it was the introduction to a brand that broke all the rules for children’s wear. Forget the teddy bears, cutesy baby styles and pastels, Appaman was all about rugged play with hip and stylish fashions that moved […] Continue reading →
