About

Nadia Carriere – Founder/Publisher

She’s a mom to two girls and a baby boy, a writer and the publisher of Child Mode. As a lover of style and fashion, Nadia found her ‘niche’ and love of children’s products while searching for quality items for her children. The internet can be overwhelming at times and although America has some amazing products, Nadia likes to find ‘hidden gems’ in Europe and Australia where the designers have a knack for creating innovations and styles that are covet worthy.

In addition to the product aspect, her 10 year experience in the travel industry has given Nadia a knack for scouting out the ‘best of the best’ for families. Child Mode was born as a way to provide families with a one-stop destination with everything from product news, reviews, family travel, style and recreational ideas.

When she isn’t covering breaking news, writing or tweeting, Nadia enjoys photography, reading and spending time with her family.

Hi Nadia – we were at Jayneoni Moore’s Baby Issue event yesterday and I just wanted to follow up and introduce myself. I am the co-founder of Smart Mom.

We have a really unique work model (results-only-work-environment) and our team is made up entirely of Moms. I’d love to share our story with you. I think it’s inspiring for women who are searching for ways to truly find balance between work and family. I’d also love to share product samples for your review.

Take care!

Amy

Hey, thanks for the bday wishs for my baby girl! I think the first birthday is one of the most important birthdays because not only is it a celebration of the baby’s birth but it means you made it through “alive” one of the most difficult years of parenting
I was serching your blog and couldn’t find a button to add to my blog roll. Maybe I’m blind. Also, I’m returning to work tommorow:(! To help make that transition from STAHM to working Mom a little easier I’m having a guest blogger every Wednesday. If you’re interested I’m looking into booking my Wednesday’s in July. I was thinking a round up of your favorite baby/kids products or something like that! I love to network with other Mom bloggers. It’s always nice to spread the word about great blogs(like yours)
Kindly let me know either way!

Your site is magnificent. I am a new designer of children’s clothing and have been inspired by my two sets of identical twin girls who never stop dancing in their fancy tutus. I am a television reporter, former host of an ESPN show who crossed from fitness to fashion. My line consists of pettiskirts, trendy skirts & tops, leotards and of course tutus that can be worn for everyday or dance class. Check out our site and would love to share a contest/giveaway that we are having soon with your fellow fashionistas!

Dear Nadia

I trust all is well. I am a father of a 3 month old girl looking to purchase the Hoppop Bath Tub (Bato). Hoppop’s website notes there is a stand that can be purchased. However, none of the internet retailer website specifically note whether the stand is included. Please kinldy advise if you are aware of any US retailer’s internet website that also sells the the stand that accompanies the Hoppop Bath Tub. Thanks.

Hi Olaitan,

I just checked Hoppop’s website and didn’t see a stand listed. Can you provide me with the link? If you want, you can purchase the bathtub through Amazon.com.

This is perfect (so happy i found this site)… I’ve been looking for a company/person that/who designs taggies for my custom designed sugar cookies… I truly believe the packaging is as important as the taste/design of the cookie!

Thanks,
Janeen Donati
