Traveling During The Holidays & Road Trip Essentials

Are you heading out for the holidays? Several friends and family are hitting the road on Monday, while others are waiting until after Boxing Day to visit their relatives. Travel is at it’s peak during the holidays which is why so many are opting to hit the road as opposed to flying. Regardless of when/how you travel, there are several products that are guaranteed to make your trip more peaceful and stress-free.
Cobra Jumpack
I received the Cobra CPP7500C JumPack MB Power Charger Amp USB Bill recently and practically squealed when I opened the package. Why hasn’t anyone thought of this sooner? You can jumpstart your car and charge your mobile devices with one device! The 200 Amp Starting Current, 400 Amp Peak Current, jumpstarts most cars. The 2.1 Amp USB Port provides rapid charging for mobile devices and can do multiple with one charge. It also includes a built-in LED flashlight. And it’s tiny! Measuring 5.04” H x 2.87” W x 0.98” D. Super lightweight and portable.

Need an extra bed? The Tuckaire Toddler Travel Bed is perfect for traveling to relatives, hotels or even sleepovers. It comes with its own electric pump for easy inflation and deflation. Standard crib sheets can be used with this bed.

Screen Shot 2014-12-19 at 11.40.49 AMIf you’re traveling with a baby, the Nuna Sena Mini Portable Travel Cot is a great pick! You can fold it up using just one hand, so there’s no fuss in the morning. Nuna is a fantastic brand that is inspired by Dutch designers. I’ve seen many of their pieces first hand while attending the annual ABC Kids Expo.

Cuisinart Blender

Healthy eating is a must when we travel as a family and one of our favorite meals/snacks are impossible to find, which is why this Cuisinart hand held blender is such a must, allowing you to make everything on the fly without toting a massive blender. The blender jar can be used to make drinks directly in the travel cups (the package comes with 4). Brilliant! Products like these can also save you a bundle in restaurants. Breakfast is done for a few dollars thanks to produce from the grocery store and you’ll be feeding your kids a meal that is chockfull of nutrients instead of fast food.

A travel bed is essential for travelling with a lil’ one. If they don’t have a good night’s sleep – YOU don’t have a good night’s sleep.
