Self Improvement & Taking That Personal Leap…Just For Me

September was Self Improvement Month, which was quite fitting considering the series of events that took place. As you may have noticed things have been a little quiet around here. I was busy hosting the ROAR Retreat in Costa Rica with my friend and business partner, Andrea Fellman. Being around such inspiring, intelligent and confident women was nothing short of inspiring. Andrea wrote a great post covering the gist of it, but there will be more coverage in the following weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!

I came home exhausted from the busyness of it all, but a fire in me had been ignited. It gave me a massive boost both personally and business wise. We learned from each other, collaborations are starting to take place and many good things came out of it – more than I honestly anticipated.

September was also the month that my husband surprised me with an opportunity of a lifetime. Something that has been on my personal bucket list for a long, long time. He signed me up for Yoga RYT training and BUTI Yoga certification. If you’re familiar with my other site Live Love Shape, you know I’m a huge health and fitness aficionado. It’s my confidence booster, my mood enhancer and something that keeps me healthy and sane. Staying healthy and active is something we all know we have to do, but it can be a night and day difference if you miss a day/don’t do it at all.

The first training, I had to miss as it was too close to the retreat, however I picked up where I left off in October and came home completely changed. I’ve never felt so confident within my own skin before. Counting down the days until I leave again in November.

Coincidentally, Invisalign has launched a Countdown to Confidence Instant Win Sweepstakes, providing readers with a chance to win $100 instantly each day and potentially a new smile to boost their confidence. Invisalign wants to challenge women to take on something they’ve always wanted to do for themselves and give their self-confidence a boost. I took the challenge, but now it’s your turn!

Maybe you’ve been looking to improve your life health wise, or maybe there’s something you want to do for yourself. I know for many moms, teeth straightening is on that list, but the idea of braces is daunting. Invisalign as a discreet alternative to braces that allows you to perfect your smile without sacrificing your busy life!
