Shopping Perks & How You Can Travel For Free!
I’m a big online shopper, but there are little snags and catches that can occur along the way. Canadians are considered International shoppers, so many of the great deals found online through American retailers can double or triple in price if you take the shipping and custom fees into account, which is why I prefer to shop through Canadian stores, outlets or online warehouses. Luckily we’ve moved up in the world and the selection is quite good!
Most of my fashion, electronic, media and home purchases are made online for convenience sake and well…because I love to travel and if I’m being completely honest, this is the single main reason why I do a large percentage of all of my shopping through online retailers.
What does shopping have to do with travel?
Well, thanks to fun programs such as Aeroplan, you can collect points for every dollar you purchase and those points can be used to redeem travel. I’ve redeemed 4 flights this year alone thanks to my accumulated points. They add up and can save you a nice bundle, but the key is to find promotions earning you between 5-10x the miles. SHOP.CA is an online shopping destination in partnership with Aeroplan and they are a great place to find deals on all sorts of products.
There are several perks that you can find when scouring the web, and one of the most beneficial ones comes when shopping through SHOP.CA. Why? Well, their prices are good, shipping as well as all returns are free to Canada and they offer wide variety of items to suit your needs (your family’s needs) featuring premium brands. Bonus offers are frequent allowing you to earn miles even faster. To give you an example, right now SHOP.CA is holding a limited time offer where you earn 10x Aeroplan Miles on your first purchase!
The Baby Jogger City Mini is priced well at $299.99 CAD. Baby Jogger is one of my favourite stroller brands, but they sell many others including UPPAbaby, Chicco, Mountain Buggy, Graco and more!
Personally, I’m lusting over these glossy Hunter boots. I bought a pair of regular black ones several years ago and they are still like new, but the gloss adds a whole level of chicness that I must-have!
If you’re currently looking for children’s winter boots, I highly recommend the Neoprene ones. They double up as rain boots in the spring and keep their toes warm in the winter months. These adorable polka dot Cougar boots are on my shopping list for my eldest daughter as her feet have outgrown the others.
Before you pick up anything on that shopping list of yours, head over to SHOP.CA and get yourself some miles. Your next vacation could be just around the corner thanks to a little planning ;).
