Pure NRG Girls ~ The New Activewear Line From Sears

Fitness is not a chore, nor is it something that I dread. It’s become a way of life, something that I do daily to keep my mind, body and soul in tip top shape. There’s a saying that goes something like this “Your children don’t listen to what you say, they listen to what you do.” My girls have been watching me closely as I dance, run and practice yoga. Naturally they want to be just like me, from the activities I do right down to the clothes I wear. It’s hard to find affordable activewear, which is why I’m excited about Sears‘ new performance clothing line for girls ages 6-13. Sold exclusively through Sears, this line includes “Cool Effect” to wick moisture away from the body to keep them dry.

Her black top features gorgeous pink sequins formed in the shape of a heart. It’s loose, making it ideal for dance and Zumba. The shorts are stretchy and comfortable, with seams that are flatlocked to eliminate chafing against the skin.

She loved the pieces so much that I promised we’d shop at Sears for a couple of others and I’m happy to announce the price point is extremely affordable ranging from $14.99-$19.99.

Pure NRG is a newer extension of the Sears brands. They introduced their active line for women last year which I too had a chance to test out for the first time. The top I tried out was lightweight, keeping me cool during my run. It wasn’t as sweat-wicking as I would have liked, but they have various other styles which I’m going to look into next week. details sears new yoga wear

The capris have a pocket built into the waistband for your keys or change and I really liked the routing details along the legs. I found the pants ran a little on the large side and aren’t very compressive. These would be good for gentle yoga or stretching.

You can find the new Pure NRG Girls collection in Sears stores across Canada.
