Appaman ~ One Of The Most Versatile Fashion Brands For Kids

It all started with Gwen Stefani.

Years ago, when the celebrity mom and singer stepped out with her son Kingston dressed in edgy, yet cool threads, everyone started talking about who/what he was wearing. Every hipster kid, parent and grandparent was out to buy the cool clothes for themselves/friends and family.

I don’t even think it was because Kingston was wearing the clothing, it was the introduction to a brand that broke all the rules for children’s wear. Forget the teddy bears, cutesy baby styles and pastels, Appaman was all about rugged play with hip and stylish fashions that moved with you.

We’ve featured this brand several times, focusing on the individual season/styles, but this year I noticed something about the brand that I overlooked. Something that every parent should keep in mind when purchasing clothes for their kids.

I received a few samples from Appaman’s summer line and truth be told, I didn’t have a chance to even open the package until last month. Review requests and samples tend to pile up and somehow I missed this one. Of course, I was a little worried that they would be out of season, wouldn’t fit or perhaps I’d have to put them away for the following summer or warm getaway.

To my surprise the pieces were so versatile both shade/color and style wise, that they could very easily be worn for all four seasons without being labeled as “spring” “summer” “fall” or “winter.”

My girls are layering their shirts with various skirts, pants and overalls and we’ve received loads of compliments on the styles and colours.
