Generations Riviera Maya’s Pool Suites Blew My Mind
I’m no stranger to swim-up suites. Just last year, during a trip to the Azul Beach Resort in Mexico, I experienced my first swim-up room (yes there’s an actual pool located directly off your deck). It was luxurious and oh so refreshing, and for families, such a boon if you have small children as there’s no need to haul them back to your room for nap time, as you’re essentially at your room the whole time.
The difference at the new Generations Riviera Maya’s rooms is that ALL of the decks have pools running through and across.
The rooms offer your choice of one King size bed, or two double beds and both rooms offer a pull out that sleeps 3. I love the way these sofa beds are set up, because there is essentially a hidden bed underneath! Check out the room tour for an overview.
The reason why Generations is so perfect for multi-generational families (see what they did there with the name ;)) is that you can open up 2-3 suites when traveling with more than one family, creating a massive space consisting of living rooms, bedrooms and a kitchen.
Stay tuned for a full review of the resort. This is one you won’t want to miss!
