Puerto Rico has 270 miles of coastline and featured in the Top 10 beaches from Travel Channel, including Flamenco Beach in Culebra, often cited as one of the best beaches in the world. It is also filled with world-class attractions that will turn any trip into a 5-star vacation story.
Fun fact: Puerto Rico Tourism recently partnered with popular travel review site Trip Advisor to transform real traveler 5-star reviews into stunningly beautiful short films narrated by Puerto Rican stars. These reviews will make you want to See Puerto Rico and Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico. in Puerto Rico!
If you're into history, San Juan offers plenty of old world charm. This island is also famous for it's delicious foods, delicacies and of course – rum.
One of the most amazing things you can do in Puerto Rico, is to swim in the Bioluminescent bays. These bays actually glow thanks to the single-celled bioluminescent dinoflagettes in the water. These organisims are half-plant, half-animal and they let off a blueish light when they are agitated at night, hence creating the glow. And yes, there are tours you can take to check out these incredible waters.
Another fun thing to do in the area, is to visit the only rainforest under US national park service, El Yunque, and climb to the clouds. It overs over 29,000 acres and is around 40km southeast of San Juan.
If you love adventure, be sure to go horse back riding and of course, a visit to the magnificent Camuy caverns is a must! The Camuy River Cave Park is a cave system located in the northwest region of Puerto Rico and consists of a large network of underground waterways, natural limestone caves that had been carved out by the third largest underground river in the world – the Rio Camuy.
What about you? If you were to visit Puerto Rico, where would you like to go? If you live in the United States, you'll be happy to hear that there is no need for passports or foreign money require, when you're in PR,  just hop on a plane and go!

It should be noted that swimming in any/all biobays in Puerto Rico has been banned since 2011.
