Kate Spade Kids: It’s Happening! Details On Their Partnership With GAP

It’s happening! Kate Spade and Jack Spade are partnering with GapKids for miniature fashion pieces that we’re sure to go gaga for. Both brands are famous for their super whimsical details and fun colours, so this partnership couldn’t be more perfect. I’m assuming they’ll integrate classic and signature aspects from both lines, however no descriptions or images were released when the announcement was made a couple of weeks ago.

This is the first time the Spades will be diving into childrenswear. Kate Spade New York started in 1993 with Jack Spade following 3 years later. I think it’s fabulous that the brands are doing the same thing Stella McCartney and Diane von Furstenberg did and perhaps, if it’s successful (which of course it will be) they’ll consider adding a Junior Spade to their line.

According to the LA Times, the collection, is expected to hit retail in November and will be available through Gap’s website as well as Gap Kids bricks-and-mortar stores in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Hong Kong and Japan.

We CAN’T wait!!
