Broke Down & Entered The 21st Century With a Dishwasher #FinishMoms
Well, we did it. We broke down and bought a dishwasher. Yes, that’s right in the past 10 years of marriage, 3 kids and 2 businesses later – we’ve done all of our dishes by hand. There was really no need for a dishwasher when it was just us and then when our daughter came along, I was in a blissful state of housewife/new motherhood and was happy dipping my hands in hot soapy water. My husband and I would chat as he dried the dishes – it was fun.
8 years since that day and well, it isn’t so fun. Hot soapy water = cracked hands and the dishes don’t stop. No, they really, really don’t stop. Hence the need for a dishwasher. My husband *may* be more excited than me!
Funny enough, Finish Power & Free contacted me just after we made our purchase, so the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I was a little apprehensive about using their product as the dishwasher pucks from my childhood (dare I date myself – 20 years ago) left little to be desired, but willing to give them a try.
A couple of weeks ago, I received 4 packages of FINISH Quantum Power & Free. At first glance you can immediately tell that they are not your typical tablets. Each packet has a three-chamber capsule – one with a liquid and the other two with separate dry formulas. The Finish Power & Free detergent features Hydrogen Peroxide Action to help get rid of the toughest food messes. What I loved the most about this formula is that it has zero chlorine bleach and less harsh chemicals than any of their other formulas.
And look! Crystal clean glass (no spots or residue!) thanks to Finish’s tips and tricks. You can find those by visiting www.dishwashingexpert.com.
I’m the one doing the loading and unloading, but I’m looking forward to passing the duty over to my eldest daughter and sharing our experiences with you all now as a member of the Finish Power & Free Alliance of Moms. You can follow my journey as well as many others by following the hashtag #FinishMoms.
