Onzie Review ~ Yoga Clothes & Fitness Apparel With Personality

photo 2

As you all probably know, I’m a big yoga buff and have gone so far as to get my own children involved. It’s become a family affair! Because I workout everyday, I have an entire drawer alone that is dedicated to workout clothing. When you sweat every day, you need replacements!

I first learned about Onzie, by browsing through the multitude of yoga photos on Instagram. The loud, crazy, super cool pants that you seen on IG are most likely made by this company which is hugely popular in the yoga community. It’s a line that I’ve always wanted to test out and I got my opportunity a couple of months ago when the brand sent along several different pieces from their line.

Their Elastic Bra Top is super cute and a great yoga bra top (pictured in the cover photo). As you can tell from the photo, there are three elastic straps that lie horizontally. All of the straps are made of elastic, so they give you lots of room to move and stretch within your poses. That being said, there isn’t a whole lot of support, so if you are more on the busty side, I wouldn’t recommend this top – it’s more suited for smaller busts (something that they do mention in the item’s description). It’s also very generous sizing wise.

Onzie Yoga Pants

I mean really now! Have you ever seen such cool pants? Onzie’s capri pants are super light and breathable, made from a free flow fabric that consists of nylon and spandex. No matter how extreme your workout, these will keep you super cool and easy to spot. There is a nice selection of crazy fun prints to choose from, however they do switch them up with the seasons so if you see something you like I recommend grabbing them before they sell out!

The last item I was able to try out was the Side String Short. This comes in two sizes “one-size” and “large”. They work very well for hot yoga and aerobics, keeping you cute and cool at the same time. The one-size is super stretchy and extremely accommodating, so much so that I found it on the large side. They “just” fit me, so if you are an extra small or extra, extra small size, I would recommend something more fitted.

Browsing Onzie’s site is a little dangerous because they have so many gorgeous prints and cute styles to choose from! If you’re looking for new yoga clothes to get you through the upcoming summer season – definitely give them a try!

Disclosure: Onzie sent me several items for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    Hey Nadia,

I love your blog! :-) I practise Bikram Yoga, too. :-) During yoga, I wear a normal short and lingerie. However, my panties pinches when I practise Bikram Yoga. :( Therefore, I decided to buy me new shorts. :-) As you tested the Onzie Side String Short, I would like to ask you, whether it is possible to wear it without lingerie? – But I don’t want to share too private details …. ;-)

Many thanks in advance & fondest regards,

    Hi Nadia,

You are a really yogaist! By the way, have you heard green apple active bamboo clothing for yoga? I bet you will want it too. Try it and see it for youself. I’ve been a green apple user since I do also yoga and some heavy exercise, their clothes are really natural, soft and comfy. :)
