The Coolest Kitchen Gear For Kids

kitchen-gear-for-kids

One of my favourite memories from my childhood is helping my mother in the kitchen. She’d let me mix cake batters and lick the bowls, she’d help me crack eggs and whisk them up for omelettes. It felt just like making art and I’m grateful to this day that she helped me to feel confident at the stove.

I’ve had my daughter helping me in the kitchen since she was about two-years-old. No matter what I’m making, she likes to be standing next to me on a chair, helping me to add each ingredient, and peering over at the stove to see how dinner’s coming along. She’s recently started making her own breakfasts in the morning — but only when it’s cereal or toast on the menu! I love watching her blossom as a tiny chef!

If you’re looking for some fun ways to get your kiddos involved in the cooking process, check out some fun kitchen gear for kids below!

Getting kids to help you in the kitchen is not only a fun learning experience, but it’s a great way to bond and get your children more involved in the food they’re eating. They’ll be so proud when they get to dig into the spaghetti sauce they helped to create, or the school lunch they packed by themselves!

Happy cooking!
