Oh the puns! This cute fishbowl Valentine from Bliss Bloom Blog is not only adorable, but also a nice alternative to sugary treats.
Whipperberry has a cute twist on DIY crayons — adding a little glitter into the equation! While the melting ought to be done by an adult, your little ones will LOVE tearing the paper off your old and broken crayons. You can melt different shades of one colour into a fun new crayon, or have your kiddos play around with different colour combinations — go for the rainbow!
These wooden hearts would make fun little Valentines, as well as decorations around the house! Have your kiddo paint the blocks, then write letters together — plus, add a little greeting on the back and give away to friends! Very cute. A great idea from A Beautiful Mess.
Another fun pun for Valentine’s Day! Check out this DIY over at Dandee! I think this might be my favourite idea for my daughter’s class this year. I think she’ll like it just as much as I do!
Lastly, for a little sweet treat, try this tasty trail mix from A Spicy Perspective. You can leave out the chocolate if you’re going for healthy! Enjoy!
I remembering loving Valentine’s Day as a child and it was so much fun sharing little handmade cards with my school friends. I’m looking forward to creating this same tradition of giving and sharing with my daughter.
