Celebrity Moms & Bravado Designs Support Baby Buggy With #EssentialEmbrace

You may have noticed the hashtag #EssentialEmbrace floating around for the last couple of months. I used it myself when posting a photo of me and my daughter in an “Essential Embrace.” The campaign’s focus was to showcase the powerful bond between parent and baby. If you search on Instagram using the hashtag, you’ll see hundreds of these powerful images that are sure to trigger a tear or two.

So, why an essential embrace? What was the goal for this photo campaign? Bravado Designs announced that for every photo posted, they would donate a nursing bra to families in need. Moms from around the country and fourteen high-profile celebrity moms such as Hilary Duff, Elizabeth Banks, Ali Landry, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Marla Sokoloff and Melissa Joan Hart helped to make this campaign a success by posting their own #EssentialEmbrace on Instagram and Twitter from October 15-November 15.

The campaign was a huge success and resulted in a donation of  $186,200 worth of bras (3,800 units) to Baby Buggy®, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing families in need with essential gear, clothing, products and services for infants and children up to age 12.

Don’t you love when companies step up to make a difference? This is just one of the many reasons why I love Bravado, a brand that supported me throughout all three of my pregnancies and beyond. It is one that is very near and dear to my heart!

A mom to two girls and a baby boy, a writer and the publisher of Child Mode. As a lover of style and fashion, Nadia found her ‘niche’ and love of children’s clothing while searching for quality items for her family.
