Baby’s 1st Christmas ~ 5 Gifts For Celebrating!
My daughter’s first Christmas (back in 2009!) was magical and memorable. At nearly a year old, she took in the sights and sounds and was absolutely mesmerized by our Christmas tree, holidays lights, and all of the presents stacked up on the morning of December 25th. It’s such a special time for parents — to watch their children enjoy the wonders of their very first holiday season!
Today I wanted to share some cute ideas that would make for great gifts or keepsakes for baby’s 1st Christmas!
Baby’s First Christmas Onesie with Headband and Leg Warmers via C & E Bowtique — This cute outfit will go beyond the holidays with leg warmers and a headband that’ll fit for months after!
Elephant Ornament via Beehive Kitchenware — An adorable keepsake! Check the shop for more animals and styles!
Baby’s 1st Christmas Ornament via About The Detail — Those buttons make this hand-stamped ceramic tree ornament a favourite in my books! Give this one to your craft pal who’s celebrating a first Christmas with their tot!
Baby’s 1st Christmas Pillow via Pottery Barn Kids — You’ll be sure to bring this little bit of decor out every year to remember your first special holiday with baby!
Baby’s 1st Christmas Personalized Ornament via Personalization Mall — Customize this colourful ornament to suit your needs! One for each kiddo, perhaps?
I still have all of my daughter’s mall-Santa photos from when the grandparents took her to visit him! It’s wonderful to watch her grow up so much over the years (and the Santa is the exact same fella!) Those are my favourite keepsakes! We also like to pick out a new ornament each year — my daughter gets to choose — to add to our tree. In the future, when she moves out on her own, many years from now, she’ll have our ornament collection to take with her!
How did you celebrate your child’s first holiday season? Did you start any new traditions?
