Handmade Mittens For Kids ~ 6 Favourites!
This week I’ve been spending a LOT of time working and typing away by the fireside, keeping my toes warm, and sipping cup after cup of hot tea and coffee. Oh yes, Winter is certainly on it’s way up here! We’ve been digging through our cold-weather gear, pulling out all of the hats, scarves, and mittens, and I’ve realized that my growing daughter only really has a pair or two of mittens left that still fit on her hands from last year! Time to stock up on some cute and warm mittens for the season!
And where do I look first for cute knits? Etsy, of course! Here are my top picks when it comes to handmade mittens for kids!
Red Mittens via Happy Laika — These sweet mittens just scream Christmas to me!
Multicoloured Mittens via Barking Dog Designs — These colourfully striped mittens are a fun choice for boys or girls!
Thumbs Up Mittens via Tippy Toes Knits — What a clever design! These would make a great stocking stuff this holiday season!
Green Cable-Knit Mittens via Shnop Shnop — A simple cabled design never goes out of style.
Mouse Mittens via Make Stitch Knit — How can you not love that little face??
As a child I know I drove my mother nutty by losing mittens constantly, often ending the season with several mismatched pairs. It was hopeless. I know add a string to all of my daughter’s mittens or clip them to her jacket. It’s not foolproof, but it helps!
Is it snowing where you live? Are you a lover of Winter?
