Tos R Us has issued a recall for 12,650 of their Journey Girl Travel Trunks. These units were used to carry 18-inch-tall toy dolls. The 21-inch tall curved top trunks are purple with a blue pattern and a blue metal handle.

So far Toys R Us has received 6 reports of incidents involving the handle on the trunk, including one report of a consumer who received stitches as a result of a laceration.

It is recommended that customers should immediately stop using the travel trunk, put it out of reach of children and return it to a Toys R Us store for a full refund or store credit.

The trunks were sold in Toys R Us stores nationwide and online at www.toysrus.com from October 2012 through February 2013 for about $30.
