The Perfect Tall Black Boot For Fall
All I can think about these days are knee high boots. Two years ago, I purchased the perfect pair of dark brown boots from Frye. I had been drooling over them for an entire year prior and after waiting patiently, I was able to find a pair for 50% off during a great online sale. I live in those boots for the entire autumn season, however this year I’m on the hunt for the perfect tall black boot for fall. I have a pair of riding boots that I use for horseback riding, but I like to keep my riding boots and dress boots separate, which is why I’m currently in need of a pair that aren’t destined to see the inside of a barn.
After endless searching, I’ve narrowed my picks down to 5.
Clarks is one of my favourite brands of footwear. I’ve purchased several pairs of their shoes in the past and if their boots are as comfortable as their shoes, then these ‘Heath Skylark’ Comfort Leather Side-Zip Boot from Indigo by Clarks are a win-win. Sears currently has them in stock. The 3″ heel and buckle detailing on these boots are appealing to me and I love the overall look. Price: $239.99 through Sears.
You can’t go wrong with Frye boots and the Melissa Button Boots are a timeless style that will never go out of fashion. Frye has them listed for $506.88, however Amazon.com is selling them at a discounted price depending on which color and size you choose. My size in black – $300. Much cheaper than buying directly through Frye!
Another pair from Frye! I’m head over heels in love with these Riding Back Zip boots. The filigree embroidered detailing on the side is simply stunning. In. Love. Price: $598.00 from Zappos.
And the last pair of boots are from… surprise! Frye! What can I say, I have a soft spot for Frye, their boots are impeccably made. These are the Patty Riding Tall boots and have a cute strap and buckle detail on the side as well as a chunky 3″ heel. Price: $608.83 from Frye.
