Karen Walker’s Eyewear Campaign Uses Kids As Their Models

I am in love with Karen Walker’s latest campaign! For their first summer collection, the designer used women between the ages of 65 and 92 as their models, however this time for their second summer collection which just launched this week, Walker is using children between the ages of 3 and 5. The result is a fun and playful campaign that I think is just darling. Claudia, Elisa, Tyler and Alice-Rose are the four children that were photographed by Derek Henderson and each of them wear one of four new eyeglass styles (the Peek-a-boo, Siouxsie, the Underground and the Rowdy).

During the shoot, the kids were asked to be themselves and I think Henderson did such a great job capturing the whimsy of a child. Great campaign!

According to WWD, the glasses are inspired by “cartoonish, toylike” sensibility. The frames will launch on September 5th and are said to retail between $300 and $350. Keep your eye on karenwalkeryewear.com for more details.
