Toddler Buffet 101 ~ The Ultimate Snack Idea For Tots

buffet

Today’s food post is a fun kids snack idea that I have been using all summer. By offering many different foods and serving them in muffin tins or ice cube trays I have changed the snack time game.  My kids seem to absolutely love having a different variety of foods with different colours and textures all neatly organized in front of them – a kid buffet! It is a simple idea with big results. I saw some inspiring images on Pintrest and have been impressing my girls during snack time ever since.

For my latest snack buffet I used:

  • Cucumbers
  • Mangos
  • Apples
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Carrots
  • Mini chocolate chip cookies
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Pretzels
  • Edamame
  • Raisins

Feel free to try your own food combinations or maybe create a theme to work with. The kids love the variety and the ability to choose for themselves which bite they want to try. The colours make for a gorgeous presentation too! Feel free to change it up every time by adding in different fruits or snacks. This is also a great way to get your kids to try new things!

Enjoy!
