Instagram Video, Cinema & Details On The 13 New Filters Launched Today

You know how much we love Instagram. It’s my preferred social community because it’s beautiful, simple and eye-catching.

Our favourite social media network has made an exciting announcement that we had to share with you because it will affect the way we share and publish our content on the go.

It’s hard to edit, manage and upload video on the go, in fact its something that drives me crazy! Instagram is now doing to video what they’ve done to photos. Hashtags work the same. Everything remains the same, although now? Instagram moves!

Right now there are over 130 million people recording their life’s moments through Instagram, something tells me that is about to change. Instagram’s layout will stay the same, but they’ve improved it. Now there is a video icon, tap it and it will take you into video mode. 15 second videos. The bonus? You can remove clips. If you take a 15 second video with 5 different clips and one of them isn’t the greatest, you can remove it and re-record!

Other features:

  • 13 brand new custom filters designed for video only
  • You can now choose your own frame. Before you publish your video, you can select from a pile of frames that are automatically taken from your video and presented to you before it goes live.
  • Instagram has teamed up with the world’s leading scientists to create ‘Cinema’.  Cinema is a new feature that will be a part of Instagram’s video capability and essentially it’s cinematic stabalization for your videos. Cinema stabilizes your video, making it crisp, smooth and mind blowingly clear. Think pro videos with your iPhone.

When is it available? Right now, you just have to install the recent IG update through the App Store! Go forth and create and please don’t forget to follow us @childmode.
