The New Stride Rite Shoe Design Invented By A Dad

Father’s Day is just around the corner and Stride Rite has unveiled a brand new shoe design, called “Embracers” as part of the Sesame Street® by Stride Rite® Fall 2013 collection. What makes this new design so fun is its two adjustable overlapping straps that embrace the tongue of the shoe to keep the foot secure.

Scott Dromms, inventor and dad to twins came up with this idea and Stride Rite embraced it (pun intended). The new straps combined with Stride Rite’s Sensory Response Technology ensures that kids are provided with as much security as possible in their footwear. As part of the promotion Stride Rite is giving away a trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos. You can visit www.striderite.com/sesamestreet for more information.

The Sesame Street by Stride Rite Embracers retail for $48 and are available in baby sizes 4-8.
