The United States Social Security released their official list of the top baby names in the United States. Jacob and Sophia appear yet again as well as quite a few names that have remained on the list for the past decade, however there are a couple of new arrivals, such as Liam, who made the list for 2012.
When I was pregnant with my babies, this particular list came in handy as it gave me a list of names to stay away from. Each parent is different I suppose, but I didn’t want my kids to have a name that was super popular. How about you? What are your thoughts on the subject?

Seems you can’t win these days. Looking to avoid getting skin cancer, millions of us slather on sunscreen every year. In the end though we might be actually encouraging skin cancer, especially if using sunscreen with retinyl palmitate. What’s a mom to do? If you’re like me, you seek out organic or natural solutions, put hats on your kids, buy clothing with SPF and keep them in the shade as much as possible.
