“An Awesome Book!” by Dallas Clayton Is Sure To Inspire

Five years ago Dallas Clayton wrote “An Awesome Book!” about dreams and the importance of dreaming big.  As an American author and illustrator, Clayton wanted to write and illustrate a children’s book after the birth of his son.  He was turned down by many major publishing companies but still opted to publish the book himself and put the book online for free.  Immediately the book was being shared and it wasn’t long before the book caught the interest of a-list celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, and Justin Timberlake. In 2010 An Awesome Book! was re-released by Harper Collins and Clayton signed a 3 book deal with the publisher.

Clayton’s illustrations are whimsical, wild, and very colorful and his push to inspire kids to “dream and dream often” ignites the dreamer in all of us.  You can read the story online and I suggest you do so right away.  I think the message is a great one and should be shared with everyone – kids, parents, friends, teachers, colleagues.  Dallas Clayton’s sincerity and excitement to share his message is contagious and I am excited to do the same.

You can find the book in bookstores across the country, or Amazon.com.
