77kids Is Replaced With Ruum – A New Kids Fashion Shop Owned By The Children’s Place

The Children’s Place is one of our main stops for everyday wear for our kids, but it looks like another shop is about to join them. The Nina Footwear CEO founded the fashion chain and has since launched Ruum, a brand new kids’ retail concept. 21 locations opened last week and you may recognize the locations as the stores were formerly under the banner of American Eagle Outfitters’ 77kids brand before Ezra Dabah acquired the shops last year.

What will you find at Ruum? Fashionable, mix and match clothing and accessories for babies, children and tweens. Prices are reasonable and affordable ranging from $10 for leggings to $50 for dresses. Sara Louise Petty, Ruum’s VP of trend, color and concept spoke to WWD and said

“[We] wanted the stores to be an exciting and stimulating environment for kids.”

“The interiors are bright and playful with kiosks where children can engage, explore, see how they would look in various outfits with a digital look builder, play at being a rock star — and more,” she added.

Ruum is holding all kinds of online and in-store promotions, so be sure to visit them online for more info.
