Nancy Noel’s Gorgeous ‘Be Still’ Limited Edition Art Print To Benefit Sandy Hook Family Fund
Last December, my family and I participated in #26ActsForSandyHook. Like all parents, I was left reeling after the news about the horrific incident at Sandy Hook school.
Famous artist Nancy Noel has given us another way to hep. She recently joined the My Sandy Hook Family Fund to offer limited edition prints of her new memorial painting, “Be Still.” Noel’s gorgeous paintings o children can be found in the homes of Oprah Winfrey, Jane Seymour, Maya Angelou and Robert Redford. Her paintings run in the hundreds of thousands, however her latest print is affordable to the masses.
Noel’s work has become a source of healing for parents and families grieving the loss of a child. After this most recent tragedy she began painting a pensive child with hands clasped in prayer with a white dove hovering behind her. In “Be Still,” the dove represents the Divine, according to Noel. The child’s expression is quiet and meditative and her face is bathed in promising light.
The limited edition, signed and numbered prints are available at BeStillNewtown.org, with proceeds supporting the needs of victims’ families through the My Sandy Hook Family Fund. Prices for the prints ranges from $50 to $650.
