Indy Plush: Soft Dolls Made Out Of Recycled Plastic Bottles

Indy Plush is a new Green America Certified organization that designs, manufactures and distributes a unique line of plush dolls, clothing and books. Interestingly enough, the filler in the dolls is made up of 100% recycled plastic bottles that have been melted and spun like cotton candy. Some of the clothing is made from 100% organic cotton and other sustainable materials.

Sustainability isn’t just on the manufacturing side of things. If you place an order with Indy Plush, they will ask you how they want the products shipped in order to minimize packaging and transportation. Many times they drop off products on their way to trade shows, appointments and other endeavors to minimize additional transportation costs.

You can find Indy Plush products at museums such as the San Jose Museum of Art, sophisticated boutiques like Trinkets & Treasures of Studio City, Fiddlesticks of San Francisco, “the shop” at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey, and the environmentally responsible design firm, Inhabiture Home of Palo Alto.
