Special Delivery! Little Pnuts Subscription Boxes In Review
There are few things in life as smile-inducing as the simple joy of receiving a package in the mail. Subscription box companies have been gaining popularity within the past year, and with so many options to choose from out there, I wanted to take the time to highlight one that, in my opinion, really sets it’s self above the others—Little Pnuts.
Little Pnuts is a quarterly subscription toy company featuring sustainably-made products that are eco-friendly and organic. The company mission is to encourage children to use their imaginations to inspire creativity and play. The majority of subscription box companies are delivered monthly, but Little Pnuts is set on a quarterly schedule, taking their time to review and test their product selections to ensure that the highest quality items are chosen and delivered to your door every three months in their Special Delivery boxes.
There are three subscription options available: infant, toddler, and preschool. Each box has four quarterly age ranges which highlight different developmental milestones, and features three to five toys that have been chosen to enhance your child’s growth. Little Pnuts sent us the infant and toddler Special Delivery boxes for us to review and check out, and, I must say, I’m very impressed!
My son is 14 months old, so he was sent the toddler box to review.
This box featured four toys which were all spot-on for the skill levels he is developing now. The brands are top notch. My son was immediately obsessed with the stacking blocks on pegs and the horse and cart peg stacker.
He was so focused and determined to remove, reposition, grasp, and insert each peg in to their hole. It was pretty awesome to watch him figure these skills out so quickly. The little car that arrived was also a hit and he is working on the pull-back-to-release zoom motion, and the puzzle is perfect for learning placement, shapes, and animal names.
My friend’s son is 10 months old and he was sent the infant Special Delivery box to review. Like all of us new moms do, she worries often if he is on track developmentally or if she is exposing him to the right things. This box gave her the confidence in knowing that her son’s toys are educational, safe, and will help him develop.
Her son loved the pirate and the soft stackers that turn in to a ball. He crawls after it, takes it apart, and claps with the end pieces. (He is the cutest!) The zebra pull toy will be perfect for when he starts walking, and she is saving the final toy as a surprise for him to open on a plane ride to keep him occupied during the flight.
Little Pnuts would be a great company to subscribe to because it features toys that are usually only seen in specialty boutique stores, and it saves you the time and research to hunt down these amazing brands. My friend is going to immediately subscribe. She loves that it is a good deal because she’s going to buy her son toys anyway, and this way she is not making impulse purchases, or buying cheap plastic products. She could spend hours researching products online, skill level, and reading reviews, but this way she knows she will be receiving trusted, quality products that will become toys passed along through family.
I couldn’t agree more.
