Kids In Grade 4 & Grade 5 Ski Free This Season With Canada’s SnowPass!
Do you have a little skier on your hands, or perhaps a child who would like to hit the slopes this season? If your child is in Grade 4 or 5, they are eligible for this season’s SnowPass allowing them to ski for free! Skiing and snowboarding are two of Canada’s most popular winter sports and one of the best ways to stay active this winter, however it can be a strain on your pockets. The Canadian Ski Council along with ski areas from across the country want to help and have created this initiative for 9 and 10 year old kids.
Your child’s SnowPass is valid from December 1st to the end of the ski season. For the first time ever, the SnowPass is now national and can be used at over 150 ski areas all across Canada. SnowPass registration can now be completed online. Just visit www.snowpass.ca, complete the registration form, upload a photo, proof of age/grade and pay a small administration fee of $29.95 including taxes. Applications are open to anyone in grade 4 or 5 (or who was born in 2002 and 2003). Your child’s very own SnowPass will be mailed straight to your door giving you hundreds of ways to save this season.
You can also pick up an application form from your child’s grade 4 or 5 elementary school teachers or at participating Sport Chek stores Canada-wide. This year’s program begins December 1st, 2012.
