DKNY Fall Winter 2012 ~ Kids Take On New York From SOHO To Central Park

This season, DKNY explores the many different facets of New York from the galleries of SOHO to the streets of East Village to Central Park. There is a real ‘rock chic’ attitude going on with many of these pieces. Stars adorn Modal tops, leather-look pants accented with zippers and sequins sparkle on embroidered voile dresses and pants.

Oversized knit sweaters, red satin trousers, leather jackets, black and navy blue wool coats. Boys combine slim-cut blue trousers with a ‘concert poster’ t-shirt under a tux-inspired blazer with a nylon hood and guitar motif on the back. Shades of deep green and electric blue spice up the basic palette of black and grey.

Fur-lined down coats look great atop jersey blouses and lurex details add a touch of glamour to dresses and cardigans. In regards to colours, they’ve added a bit of mottled grey, beige, gold and silver with touches of deep pink. Lots of comfortable materials like cotton fleece, tencel, club yarn and knits.

The entire collection is available now in-stores. If you don’t have a location close to you, our affiliate Childrensalon sells the line as well.
