Swim With The Dolphins In Negril, Jamaica At Dolphin Cove

When visiting Jamaica with your family, make sure you take the time to visit Dolphin Cove in Negril, Jamaica. This unique experience was awarded “Leading Adventure Excursion” this year by the World Travel Awards for the Caribbean. After a recent trip there myself, it’s not hard to see why.

Dolphin Cove is by far one of the best dolphin programs I’ve ever participated in, and it is the perfect outing for the entire family.┬áCompared with other dolphin programs, I do believe that Dolphin Cove is also the most interactive and longest encounter you can have. Children as young as three can get in the water and come face to face with these magnificent mammals.

With four different experiences to choose from, you are sure to find something suited for everyone in your family.

The Encounter – Perfect for young children or those who may be slightly nervous. Guests stand on a platform in knee deep water and interact with dolphins. Good news – Children under 5 are free as long as they hold an adults hand.

The Swim – Children as young as three can get in the water with a parent. Swim with one dolphin, touch the dolphin and receive a kiss.

The Ultimate Swim – Swim with two dolphins. You can either do a dorsal pull or foot push with them, as well as rub their belly and interact with them.

Sea Keeper for a Day – For your future marine biologist, the perfect day. Guests can either participate in a 4 hour or 8 hour program and help train and care for the dolphins. Children must be 10 or older.

Reservations are strongly recommended due to popularity. You can book online here.

*A big thanks to the Jamaica Tourism Board for inviting Child Mode to discover Negril during this sponsored trip!*

I know this is a bit late however I must thank you for the write up. We are always working to improve what we have to offer and I can assure you that if you were to come again you would have an even better time than last. We now have Dolphin Trek where you wear a scuba helmet and walk the bottom of the sea while interacting with the dolphins. Nothing can be more personal than that.
